Tried and True!

As you may or may not know I love to try new beauty products all the time. This is good news for you, as I am your guinea pig. Welcome to what I call Tried and True where I try a product and tell you the truth about it, good or bad.

My First product for Tried and True comes from Booth's and its their Green Apple Microdermabrasion Scrub. Let me suggest you all go RUN and buy this product, yes run!! Never have I ever been so impressed with a face scrub, and more importantly have I never been impressed by it's immediate results. I LOVE THIS PRODUCT!!!!

This scrub is meant to be a mini microdermabrasion in a tube with microdermabrasion results and I have to say that it lives up to its hype.  What I love most about it is that a little goes a long way. A dot or two on your face is more than enough.

If you do not already have an exfoliating scrub in your routine already, its important that you get one. Exfoliating is an essential part in a good skin care routine. Our skin naturally pushes up dead skin cells to reveal new ones, but the process is slow and they sit on top of our skin. Enter the Exfoliater. By removing the dead layer of skin manually, you not only reveal fresh skin you allow your more important products, like moisturizer, anti-aging, anti-fade creams to work more effectively. No longer do they have to fight to get past that dead layer of skin to work, they in fact work better.

Now this scrub is SO good for those with Oily/ Acne prone skin. It is less attractive to those with super sensitive skin. The scrub has pumice, but don't be afraid of that word, this is not the pumice we are talking about that your pedicurist has. It also contains lactic/malic acid......again do not be afraid. This acids are very common in any and most of your anti aging products.

The scrub is grainy/very grainy but is the reason it works so extremely well and why a tiny bit goes a very long way. I will tell you this, I have acne prone/oily skin. After one use I immediately noticed a difference in clarity of my skin, not to mention it felt like a baby's bottom.  After one week, my acne has been almost non existent.  After two weeks any acne scars I had have noticeably diminished. I am not kidding when I say this is one of the best scrubs I have ever found to work as well as this one does.  I would suggest even those with more sensitive skin to also give it a try. The trick is to go slowly and softly, let the product work for you instead of you pushing in the product to your face. If you find that its still a little harsh, mix in your favorite moisturizer with it and you get a creamy exfoliater.

The best part? It's $9.99 a tube and will last you months!

Dirty Bombshells I've tried it, and the truth is I Love Booth's Green Apple Microdermabrasion Scrub!!
